Delete your xSIM account

How to close your account and what happens to your data

You can ask us to delete your xSIM account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page explains the two ways to do it and what is deleted.

Option 1 — from the app

  1. Open the xSIM app and go to Account.
  2. Tap Support and write “Delete my account”.
  3. We confirm your identity through the account you are signed in with and process the request.

Option 2 — by email

Send an email from the address you use to sign in (your Google or Apple account email) to:

privacy@xsim.net

Subject: Delete my xSIM account. Include your xSIM user ID (shown under Account in the app) so we find the right account quickly. Requests from a different email address cannot be accepted, to protect your account.

Before you ask for deletion: any phone numbers on the account are released and cannot be recovered, and any remaining wallet balance is forfeited. Cancel active subscriptions first in Google Play or the App Store — deleting the account does not cancel a store subscription.

What is deleted

  • Your profile: name, email, user ID and sign-in link
  • Your phone numbers and their settings
  • Your messages (SMS content) and call history as shown in the app
  • Your device and push-notification registrations
  • Your support conversations

What we must keep, and for how long

Telecommunications and tax law require us to keep some records after an account is closed: call and message records (numbers, dates, durations — not content) for up to 12 months, and billing and payment records for 6 years. These are kept only to meet those obligations, are not used for anything else, and are deleted when the period ends.

Timing

We process deletion requests within 30 days and send a confirmation email when it is done. If you change your mind before then, reply to the confirmation of receipt and we will stop the request.

xSIM is operated by ZEUST LIMITED (Cyprus, HE 362856). See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
